the ride

Tonight is a busy night for me. On my way home, I’m swinging by my grandma’s house to put her tabs on her car. Then I have to scramble home, do a load of clothes and go swimming as they clean. Get home, begin packing and then prep for a 9:15 soccer game. Nothing like keeping busy! Tomorrow the fun really begins. I’m not sure when, but early in the morning my dad and I are packing up and riding our motorcycles to Chicago to catch a Cubs game Saturday afternoon. So far, the plan is to depart MN and take back roads most of the way and spend the night in Kenosha. Saturday morning we leave the hotel (leaving our gear behind) and head down the lake shore into Chicago. After the game, we drive back, pick up our stuff and try to make it to Madison. Sunday, we complete the drive and if I’m lucky, get back just in time to make a 6:15 soccer game. Hopefully the weather is going to be nice, and everything goes smooth.
